Joshua Bertaccini Named Finalist for the National Sports Media Association Sportscaster of the Year
Joshua Bertaccini, a lecturer in the Department of Communication and an alumnus of the master's program, has been named a finalist for the 2019 National Sports Media Association Sportscaster of the Year.
The nominees include the finalists for Hall of Fame sportscasters and sportswriters from 49 states plus the District of Columbia.
The nominations were made by members of the National Sports Media Association, and award winners will be announced in January 2020 and will be recognized at the 61st annual meeting and awards weekend in June 2020.
Bertaccini hosts the Red Zone, a local Razorback and SEC sports talk program, from 6-9 a.m. Mondays through Fridays on The Ticket, 92.1 FM.
