The Staff Senate is pleased to announce the University of Arkansas Employees of the 1st Quarter Awards for 2019-20.

Winners for the 1st quarter are:

Category I – Professional/Non-Faculty - Academic

  • Trisha Blau, assistant director for programming, Office of Student Activities

Category I – Professional/Non-Faculty - Administrative 

  • Mark Larmoyeux, director of technology for the Graduate School and International Education

Category II – Secretarial/Clerical  

  • Amanda Sanders, administrative specialist, Department of Physics

Category III – Technical/Paraprofessional  

  • Julie Brogan, applications specialist, Cell and Molecular Biology Program, and Graduate and International Recruiting and Admissions 

Category IV – Skilled/Service/Maintenance  

  • Gabriel Grider, CUGB coordinator, Facilities Management

Congratulations to all these employees for their hard work and service!

Spring Bike Drive Refurbishes Old Bikes for New Students

All donated bikes will be given to Pedal It Forward, a local nonprofit that will refurbish your bike and return it to the U of A campus to be gifted to a student in need. Hundreds of students have already benefited.
