CMS Beginning Piano for Kids Group Class Now Open for Registration

The Community Music School offers Beginning Piano as a weekly group class for children ages 4-6. This unique program strives to nurture your child's musical education using songs, games and interactive activities.

Children will learn skills in basic finger technique, hand position, keyboard orientation, and early note reading that will successfully translate into private lessons. Registration for the first six-week class of the semester is now open.

Two classes are held each Tuesday from Jan. 21 to Feb. 25 in Room 328 of the Billingsley Music Building. Participants ages 4-5.5 meet from 4-4:45 p.m. and ages 5.5-6 meet from 4:45-5:30 p.m.
