Participants Needed for Research Study: 'Phonological Processing Abilities and Reading Skills in Young Adults'

Participants are needed for a study on causal factors of reading skills and reading disabilities. You are eligible to participate if you are at least 18 years old and:

  • Have a history of either average reading abilities, OR
  • Prior diagnosis/diagnoses of any of the following:
    • Reading impairment
    • Dyslexia or
    • Auditory Processing Disorder 

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between phonological processing abilities and reading performance in young adults. If you participate, you will complete a hearing screening and tests of auditory and visual processing skills related to reading fluency. Your participation will consist of one meeting that will last approximately three hours.
