Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Releases Spring 2020 CORE Workshops Schedule
Raleigh Woods

Students, faculty, staff and alumni of the University of Arkansas are invited to attend a spring 2020 workshop and speaker series offered by the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Held at three locations — the Brewer Family Entrepreneurship Hub, the McMillon Innovation Studio, and the new Adohi Residence Hall — the core workshops blend principles from design thinking and lean startup methodologies to provide audiences with hands-on experience developing problem statements, gaining insights from users and customers, and prototyping solutions.

Additional topical events focused on themes of emerging technologies and sustainability will be offered throughout the semester. All workshops are free, and registration is available via Eventbrite.

The Hub also offers drop-in consulting. Launched in fall 2019, new and experienced entrepreneurs with a University of Arkansas affiliation can receive one-on-one consultation by appointment, or first-come, first-served, at the Brewer Family Entrepreneurship Hub during open office hours from 1-5 p.m. every Friday.

This new program is offered in partnership with Startup Junkie Consulting, Innovate Arkansas, and University of Arkansas Technology Ventures, with a rotating lineup of seasoned startup coaches, including Jeff Amerine, Haley Allgood, Doug Hutchings, David Hinton, and Sarah Goforth.

Email oei@uark.edu to sign up for an appointment or show up any Friday afternoon for a first-come, first-served session.
