University Recreation is hosting its annual Celebrate Cycle competition against the University of Georgia from Feb. 24-28. Attend any of the regularly scheduled Cycle, HIIT Cycle, or Cycle & Sculpt classes to help UREC log mileage to beat Georgia. Receive a free Celebrate Cycle water bottle for participating in any of UREC's cycle classes during this week.

Tallies of total miles traveled will be located on a scoreboard outside of the UREC Cycle Studio, located on the first  floor of the HPER Building. A running total of the mileage traveled for UREC and Georgia will be updated on the scoreboard each day.

"We are extra excited this year because we have new Schwinn cycle bikes to compete with," said Emily Herrmann, graduate assistant for fitness/wellness. "We also won last year so we have a title to defend."

All group fitness classes are free for University of Arkansas students and faculty/staff with a UREC membership.

The class schedule can be found on the UREC Arkansas app and the UREC website. Online registrations open 24 hours before class start time. Cancellations must be done at least 10 minutes prior to class time to avoid penalties.
