Center of Excellence for Poultry Science to Host Open House

The Department of Poultry Science at the University of Arkansas will host an Open House for high school juniors, seniors and college transfer students at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 7, at the Center of Excellence for Poultry Science.

The Open House will give prospective students the opportunity to meet poultry science faculty, tour the poultry science facilities, learn about the many career opportunities that are available with a major in poultry science and participate in hands-on workshops in: cell and molecular biology; avian anatomy (digestive/reproductive track), and incubation/embryology food product technology.

Students participating in the open house will also receive a ticket for themselves and one guies to the Arkansas vs. South Alabama baseball game, which will take place at 2:00 p.m. immediately following the event.
