Multi-Factor Authentication Info Events on March 10 and 18
When using the authenticator app you can easily approve or deny a session.
Multi-factor authentication will be enabled for faculty, staff and student employees by the end of March.
To help prepare for this new secure way of accessing and authenticating your UARK account, IT Services will host informational events on from 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. March 10 and 18. Stop by the Arkansas Union Tech Spot during these times to ask questions and learn more.
With multi-factor authentication, access to UARK accounts will be verified by combining something you know (username and password) with something you have (a trusted device, like a phone). When logging into an online service like UARK email or Blackboard, a six-digit code is sent using an authenticator app, text or phone message. Once the code has been entered, you will easily be able to access online applications.
Multi-factor authentication will be required for accessing online applications including: Office 365 (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc.), Adobe Creative Cloud, UAConnect, Blackboard Learn, Box and more.
