Hundreds of New Online Training Courses Help Workers Gain or Enhance Workplace Skills

More than 230 new online training courses added to the University of Arkansas Professional and Workforce Development website can help high school students, recent graduates, career changers or individuals seeking personal or professional development gain or enhance skills.

U of A Professional and Workforce Development has temporarily suspended face-to-face courses to align with the U of A's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. More online training courses were added in response to a growing demand for remote training while Arkansas and the nation practice social distancing.

In addition to options offered by U of A colleges, online training programs are offered in partnership with a leading online training provider to deliver in-demand skills. Some popular course categories include:

U of A Professional and Workforce Development, a division of the Global Campus, is a hub for professional and workforce development programs and courses offered by U of A colleges and departments. The Global Campus provides expertise in developing and delivering both academic and training courses and offers instructional design services, media production and assistance with program planning and marketing.
