A-Team Leader Applications Open for A-Week 2020

The office of New Student & Family Programs is now accepting applications for 2020 A-Week Team Leaders. Applications will be accepted throughout the summer, but submissions received by May 29 will be given priority consideration for selection.

A-Week is designed to assist incoming first-year students in their transition from high school to college by providing programming focused on student success in and outside of their classroom experience. A-Week begins after students move-in and runs until the day before classes start. Each day of A-Week focuses on a specific theme related to student success: Traditions, Involvement, Diversity, and Wellness.

A-Week connects incoming students with both new and upper-class Razorbacks, as each new student will be placed into a small group, called A-Teams, which are led by the A-Team Leaders.

A-Team Leaders will work to facilitate the objectives and small-group activities as they relate to the A-Week fall transition initiative. A-Team Leaders will be required to attend the daily topic-specific programs, small group discussions and various campus social events throughout the week's programming. Leaders will provide valuable insight and knowledge about their new home and how to be successful students at the University of Arkansas.

Applications and position descriptions can be found by visiting the A-Week website.
