Graduates Can Get Glimpse of Name on Virtual Senior Walk
Roy Cordell, University Relations

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – A tradition that dates back to the earliest years of the University of Arkansas, Senior Walk's newest addition for the Class of 2020 now has a virtual presence.

With the help of the staff at the U of A Global Campus, this year's newest graduates were able to view how their name will look on a "virtual Senior Walk" in a video that was created for each college that makes up the U of A campus.

The "virtual walk" is just another component of the new 2020 Commencement website that features personalized profiles of graduates, a virtual commencement program and video messages from Chancellor Joe Steinmetz, Provost Jim Coleman, the deans of each academic college and school, as well as honorary degree recipient Charles Scharlau.

All eight videos are available on the commencement website as well as on YouTube.
