Asylum Webinar June 14 With Expert Witness Kimberly Gauderman
Kimberly Gauderman, associate professor of Latin American history at the University of New Mexico, has served as an expert witness for nearly 150 asylum cases and is an internationally recognized scholar on refugees and asylum law related to gender violence against women and LGBTI people from Central and South America.
Join us for a conversation about the role that expert witnesses perform, the harrowing experiences of asylum-seekers fleeing persecution, & COVID-19's impact on the asylum process. There will be a Q&A after the conversation.
