Nomination Deadline for 2021 Arkansas Business Hall of Fame Is July 31

The deadline for submitting nominations for the 2021 class of the Arkansas Business Hall of Fame is July 31.

Nominations can be made by completing and submitting the form on the Arkansas Business Hall of Fame webpage or sending a letter of nomination that illustrates to the selection committee why the nominee deserves this honor.

Anyone may submit nominations via email to abhf@walton.uark.edu or by mail to the Sam M. Walton College of Business, Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development, Office of External Relations, Room 217, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR 72701-1201.

The 2021 class will be inducted at a gala dinner Feb. 5, 2021, in Little Rock.

Nominees to the Arkansas Business Hall of Fame can be living or posthumous; all living inductees must be at least 60 years of age at time of selection. In selecting inductees, the committee considers:

  • Outstanding leadership in establishing, building or running a business
  • Improving his or her community
  • Displaying the highest level of ethics.

Additional criteria for selection and a list of past honorees can be found at walton.uark.edu/abhf.

Equal consideration is given to Arkansans — by birth or by choice — whose business achievements have been inside or outside of the state. Nominations are not limited to graduates of the Walton College or the University of Arkansas.
