Five Bumpers College Students Earn Agriculture Future of America Scholarships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Five U of A students in the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences have been selected to the Leader and Academic Scholarship program sponsored by Agriculture Future of America.

Recipients are Madison Price, Anna Mathis, Sara Gardner, Katie Gardner and Kelby Biswell. Mathis, Katie Gardner and Biswell are in agricultural education, communications and technology, and Price and Sara Gardner are in agricultural business.

Price is receiving support from AFA, Mathis from the American Soybean Association, Sara Gardner and Katie Gardner from BASF, and Biswell from Belles of the American Royal Organization.

Students gain access to premier personal and professional development, and financial assistance for their college education.

AFA builds bridges for young leaders to foster engagement and innovation in food and agriculture. AFA and its partners are committed to investing in student leader development.

AFA partners supporting the Leader and Academic Scholars program include American Royal Association, American Soybean Association, Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives, BASF, Belles of the American Royal Organization, California Cotton Alliance, Dairy Farmers of America, Roderick J. and Jo Anne Cyr Foundation, Russ Weathers, The Sosland Foundation, TEGMA, Valent and the William J. Collins Foundation.
