Arkansas Union to Re-Open in July
The Arkansas Union
The Arkansas Union will reopen its entire facility beginning Monday, July 6. The Union has spent the last few months operating at minimal levels to provide ongoing services to students.
The Arkansas Union's hours starting on July 6 will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. These hours will apply to both the east side of the building, which has remained open since March, as well as the west side of the building. No events or meetings will be permitted in the Union until August. Additionally, individual offices and services may choose to remain closed in July. Please refer to those departments for their operational availability.
With this reopening, staff of the Arkansas Union are highly cognizant of the community's needs during COVID-19. All lounge furniture has been placed at appropriate intervals, staff have increased sanitation routines, and it is highly advised that patrons wear masks while in the facility. Signage will be placed in appropriate locations as guests enter the Arkansas Union, and staff will be available to assist any guests with questions.
Hill Coffee Company will also re-open on Monday, July 6, with a limited menu. Club Red Union remains open 8 a.m.to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday to serve student and guests needs.
Additionally, the Union's west side will see construction in July. The large atrium skylights will be replaced that month, requiring patrons to re-route themselves as they walk through that side of the building. Signage and access will be provided.
The Arkansas Union is a department within the Division of Student Affairs.
