UREC Outdoors to Open in a Limited Capacity on July 30

University Recreation plans to resume UREC Outdoors equipment rental on Thursday, July 30. Equipment must be reserved in advance and all equipment pick up and drop off will be provided curbside. The UREC COVID-19 Response and Plan website has updated information related to all University Recreation operations.   

During the first phase of reopening, students, UREC members, and university faculty and staff will be able to pick-up reserved equipment at curbside on Thursdays and Fridays from 1-6 p.m. and return equipment at curbside on Mondays from 1-6 p.m.  

Patrons are required to reserve equipment by phone, please call 479-575-CAMP (2267) between the hours of 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday to request reservations. Reservations may be made up to one week in advance of the scheduled pick-up date. Beginning on July 23, reservations can be made for equipment pick-up on July 30.   

Patrons are encouraged to visit the UREC Outdoors Equipment Rentals webpage for up to date information related to the reservation process, equipment pick-up and return, and details regarding the specific equipment types available for rent at this time.   

The UREC Outdoors climbing walls and bike shop will not reopen at this time. However, bikes are included in the equipment rentals beginning July 30.
