The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) will kick off the fall season with a virtual information session on Monday, Aug. 17, from 1:30-3 p.m.

OLLI staff members will share about upcoming activities and classes as well as changes the organization is making to ensure members' safety and well-being during the pandemic.

Following a discussion about the fall semester, Dr. Brian Primack, dean of the College of Education and Health Professions, will lead a fun-filled trivia game covering the 1950s to 1970s.

OLLI is a service organization that offers an array of short courses, lectures, hikes, walking tours, special events, book clubs, special interest groups, day trips and social functions. This season, OLLI is offering courses in various formats, including in-person, virtually via Zoom and a hybrid format that includes in-person and Zoom. A single annual membership is only $50 and Arkansas Alumni Association members pay $40. Workshops and special events are led by current and retired University of Arkansas faculty and community experts as well as enthusiasts in their fields.

OLLI classes, programs and activities are geared toward the interests of adults 50 and over, but there are no age restrictions or academic prerequisites. Anyone is welcome to participate.

OLLI's Opening Day event will be held via Zoom. Event links and information will be posted on the website.
