U of A Educators Can Explore Teaching Innovations by Their Peers During Online Poster Session

The Global Campus is hosting a Teaching Innovations Digital Poster Session online Sept. 16-25 to enable University of Arkansas educators to gain teaching insights from their peers and support from Global Campus instructional designers.

The session will provide on-demand access to "digital poster" videos that highlight innovative approaches to learning at the U of A. Poster pages also will include links to relevant teaching resources and registration buttons to sign up for live question-and-answer chats. The poster videos will be available any time Sept. 16 through 25. Participants must register for synchronous discussions.

The online-only event is a great opportunity to explore creative teaching solutions from peers and learn how instructional designers can help U of A educators incorporate new approaches in their courses.

Some Featured Teaching Innovations include:

  • Humanizing Learning
  • Virtual Field Trips
  • H5P, a plugin to create interactive content
  • Podcasting
  • Developing Online Internships

Participation in the online Teaching Innovations Digital Poster sessions is eligible for the Wally Cordes Teaching and Faculty Support Center commendation program. Learn more about TFSC programs.

Those who need assistance to join the poster session can contact Mary Price at mtprice@uark.edu.
