Lot 72, west of Reynolds Razorback Stadium, is one of several lots that motorists are required to vacate before home football games.

Transit and Parking is implementing two significant changes for major Razorback Athletics events this semester. First, the campus community will no longer receive emailed reminders to move vehicles ahead of games. And second, fewer lots will need cleared due to COVID-19 attendance restrictions.

Parking permit holders were notified about the changes earlier this week.

Instead of sending reminder emails, Transit and Parking is providing regular calendar reminders that can be synced to Outlook calendars to provide reminders ahead of each major athletic event.

Add Outlook Parking Calendar

To receive vacate reminders on your calendar, simply go to the calendar app within Outlook and follow these instructions:

  • Right click on "My Calendars" heading
  • Select "Add Calendar" then "open shared calendar"
  • Enter the name "PARK: Athletic Events" then click OK.

You should now see the calendar in your list.

Specific Lot Information

Razorback home football games are scheduled for Sept. 26, Oct. 17, Nov. 7, Nov. 21, and Dec. 5. Vehicles will need to be moved out of football priority parking areas before midnight on the night before each home game. To see these lots, you can go to the football parking map.

The following parking lots do not need to be vacated before football games this year: 38, 52, 54,  56B, 56D, 57, 57A, 60,  68D, 71, 78, 78A and 80.

Individuals who still prefer regular reminders of when parking areas should be vacated can follow Transit and Parking on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (@UATandP). There will also be updated information for major events on the Transit and Parking website.

Any time a parking permit holder has to move a vehicle, the commuter lot (Lot 99 south of the main campus) is available. Lot 99 is located on Beechwood Avenue and can be located on the campus parking map
