GPSC Women's Empowerment Series

The Graduate and Professional Student Congress Graduate Life Committee invites you to the Fall 2020 Women's Empowerment Series. We have invited four exceptional speakers to share their stories, experiences, and advice for young professionals.

Associate professor Caree Ann Marie Banton will speak on Oct. 14 at 6 p.m.

Dean emeritus Cynthia Nance will speak on Oct. 28 at 6 p.m.

Dean Kim LaScola Needy will speak on Nov. 11 at 6 p.m.

UNC Chancellor Sharon Gaber will speak on Nov. 18 at 6 p.m.

To register, follow the Hogsync link and register. In approximately five business days before the event, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to a Zoom Webinar. The series is open to all faculty, staff, and students.

We want to increase visibility and knowledge to inspire women to pursue their ambitious aspirations, whether in academia or industry. We want to change the way we see women in the workplace and keep this conversation going.

When we let women lead, a world of possibilities unfolds.

For questions about the event, please contact Juan Marin Jr., chairman of the graduate life committee, at gpscgl@uark.edu.
