Oxenford hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has had a lengthy career as a journalist. She holds a B.A. in communications and journalism; she has extensive experience having spent 22 years working in major news outlets in Peru. Currently, she works at ATV Noticias where she conducts one of the main news programs, Al Estilo Juliana, a dynamic nightly news program that provides in-depth analysis, compelling newsmaker interviews, and lively debates on the day's top issues. Oxenford also had a program for Radio Exitosa where she addressed relevant issues from contemporary Latin America. Between 2012 and 2016 she conducted a televised interview program where she interviewed politicians, writers, and academics.

With a strong presence on social media, and with a unique style with which she leads her news program, Oxenford is a commanding referent for breaking news, politics and special reports from Latin America and around the world.
