This month, the German Cooking Club is going to be baking German Christmas cookies.

The recipe for Zimtsterne is one of those magical ones in which the final dish is greater than the sum of its ingredients. These nut-based cinnamon star cookies are delicious, beautiful, gluten free, and keep well.

Even if you're not doing a cookie exchange this year, try out something new for next year.

The meeting will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. It is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
