2020 Graduates Honored With Stadium Lighting and Commencement Website

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – In addition to in-person commencement ceremonies planned this week, the University of Arkansas will, once again, celebrate its newest graduates through a commencement website with searchable individual graduate profiles and messages, as well as a lighting of Razorback Stadium Dec. 17-19.
The 2020 Commencement website features personalized profiles of graduates in each college, including photos, degrees awarded and messages.
A virtual commencement program will also be available for viewing and video messages from various university administration, including Chancellor Joe Steinmetz, Provost Charles Robinson and deans from the academic colleges and schools.
Additionally, the U of A will honor graduates throughout the three-day span by lighting up Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in red from 5:30-9 p.m. each night.
Approximately 1,900 students registered to attend the December ceremonies, which will include graduates from the 2020 spring, summer and fall terms.
The all university commencement will take place at 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, inside Bud Walton Arena. A full schedule of all commencement ceremonies can be found on the registrar’s website.
All ceremonies will also be streamed live on the university’s official YouTube channel.
