FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – With the 2020 fall semester winding down this week, the UA System Board of Trustees held its last meeting of the calendar year and made a special resolution expressing thanks to all system employees for their hard work and dedication to this semester.

The resolution acknowledges the work of administration, faculty and staff members of all campuses, divisions and units that make up the UA System as they have faced many obstacles from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic this year.

The Board pointed out that faculty and staff, especially, have shown extraordinary persistence in what has been a difficult year, including adopting new technologies, protecting others by following public health guidelines and enduring the overall uncertainty presented by the pandemic.

The Board expressed its heartfelt appreciation and admiration for all UA System administration and employees for their dedicated work in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic throughout the year.
