Undergraduate Research Assistant Position With the Family and Community Intervention Lab

Family and Community Intervention Lab

Family and Community Intervention Lab

The Family and Community Intervention Lab is recruiting undergraduate research assistants!

The FCI Lab is housed in the Department of Psychology and led by Lauren Quetsch. The lab focuses on dissemination and implementation of evidence-based treatments for underserved children and families. Their research examines evidence-based interventions for youth with disruptive behavior disorders and targets research on the adaptation of treatments for use with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

The team is looking for motivated students who are interested in research with children and families, especially those with ASD and disruptive behaviors. Lab tasks include coding qualitative data, conducting literature reviews, and assisting in manuscript preparation. Research assistants will have the opportunity to investigate and present on their own research interests. This is a great opportunity for those interested in pursuing a graduate degree!

We are looking for students who are able to committ to our team for at least one or two years, and priority will be given to freshmen and sophomore applicants. Working with and for communities is at the center of the FCI lab's mission. The lab's staff are Safe Zone allies and encourage students from diverse backgrounds interested in this work to apply.
