FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Facilities Management has launched a new website to provide campus customers and construction partners with more resources and a better user experience. The new design was based on analytics from the old website and customer feedback with a focus on the services campus users request most often.

The site provides easy access for customers wishing to report maintenance problems, begin projects, and reserve outdoor spaces. It also provides an overview of campus services offered by Facilities Management, highlights several major construction projects taking place on campus, and provides a map of where the construction is taking place.

For contractors, engineers, and architects working with Facilities Management, the website includes new documents such as a contractor playbook and access to other resources to help guide them during their work on campus.

Mike Johnson, associate vice chancellor for facilities, believes the new site will allow Facilities Management to better assist campus clients. "Our goal has always been to serve our campus first. We believe that this website will make it easier than ever for them to get the assistance and support they need while also providing valuable information about the work we do."

The website redesign process, which began just over a year ago, required updates and the creation of new content as well as a complete overhaul of the website layout. "We really set out to refocus our attentions on our clients and their needs, and I think the final product reflects that," said Johnson. "Of course, none of this would have been possible without the help of the Digital Design and Development team lead by Chris Nixon. Their assistance throughout the entire process was invaluable."

About Facilities Management: Facilities Management oversees the design and construction of capital projects as well as renovations and maintenance of education and general purpose buildings on campus. Some services include general maintenance, custodial, recycling, outdoor space renovations, and more. Those needing to report a maintenance problem or wishing to begin a project should visit the Facilities Management website.
