'Now, Let's Talk' in March Focuses on 'isms' and Intersectionality

During March, the "Now, Let's Talk" program by the Dr. Barbara A. Lofton Office of Diversity and Inclusion at the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas will focus on "isms" and intersectionality.

Sessions, which are being held via Zoom, will meet March 3 and March 17 and consist of lectures, group discussions, articles, movies and movie clips and an examination of participants' feelings and experiences.

Registration information for faculty and staff is at http://tiny.cc/nowletstalkisms. After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

A student who participates in any of the monthly Now, Let's Talk sessions can earn a micro-badge. Students should select "student" at the registration website.

The program continues the highly successful fall 2020 program "Let's Talk About Integrity and Race" but participants in the 2021 spring program need not to have attended the fall sessions. The program is open to University of Arkansas faculty, staff and students.

"Now, Let's Talk" will continue in April with two sessions on Cultural Humanity.
