'Applying Fair Use in the Classroom' Workshop Set for Noon Tomorrow
Join Lora Lennertz, data services librarian, for a virtual workshop in observation of Fair Use Week Feb. 22-26. This event is free and open to the public, and registration is required.
According to the Fair Use Week website, "fair use and fair dealing are essential limitations and exceptions to copyright, allowing the use of copyrighted materials without permission from the copyright holder under certain circumstances."

This year has required that we teach in a variety of modes. What was a difficult task — being copyright compliant — has become even more complicated. Join the Libraries on Microsoft Teams for an overview of copyright legislation and a discussion of fair use. Investigate some best practices for copyright compliance in your classroom.
