Arkansas Union Opens 24 Hours, Offers Study Rooms for Final Exams

After a far-too-long hiatus, the Arkansas Union will return a sense of normalcy to campus, in the form of 24-hour operations and study rooms devoted exclusively to final exams.

Beginning Wednesday, April 28, the Union will have rooms 507-511 open for students to study for final exams. The rooms will be set up with tables and chairs for students to study alone or in pairs — but please, no large groups. Masks are still required by campus rules, and students will be asked to maintain appropriate distancing by not moving the furniture around.

Additionally, the Union will move to around-the-clock operations beginning the morning of Friday, April 30. The Union will open at 7 a.m. that day and remain open 24/7 throughout the week of Final Exams. Students will be able to use the aforementioned study rooms, or find an available space in the Living Room, International Connections Lounge, or other public space. As before, all mask and distancing rules will remain in effect.

Students are also welcome to self-book private study rooms in the Union during normal operational hours by visiting unionevents.uark.edu. Outside of those hours, students may use common areas or the 5th floor Final Exam study rooms.
