Recording of Faculty-Focused Panel on Fall Return to Campus Now Available

Nearly 200 faculty and staff participated in a virtual faculty-focused panel discussion regarding the university's plans for a face-to-face fall semester.
The panel included representatives from the Division of Academic Affairs, Facilities Management, Office of Equal Opportunity and Compliance, Office of Emergency Management and the Pat Walker Health Center. Charles Robinson, provost and executive vice chancellor for academic and student affairs, moderated the discussion.
Last month, the university announced plans for a face-to-face fall semester that includes classes, student organization activities and events, and other in-person functions and activities. The university will maintain mask use and social distancing protocols at this time and anticipate doing so through summer classes. Additional details about the fall semester will be announced later this spring.
Any surge in COVID-19 infections could modify return plans as the health and safety of the campus community will continue to shape all decision making. The COVID-19 website will be updated with all the latest guidance and information later this spring.
