PPE and Safety Supplies Available to the Campus Community

The U of A has personal protective equipment and safety supplies available for all members of the campus community. Items include gloves, face coverings, hand sanitizer and more.

Arkansas has allocated a portion of its CARES Act funding to public universities for the purchase of personal protective equipment and safety supplies. Facilities Management has purchased a number of these supplies and is making them available to the campus community. The items purchased were chosen based on a pre-approved list of available items provided by the state and includes:

  • Disposable face masks
  • White face coverings
  • Sanitizing spray
  • Disposable gloves (not approved for chemical use): sizes small-XL
  • Basic first aid kits
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Plastic bottles with spray nozzle
  • Sanitizing wipes
  • 32-gallon trash can with lid

Items are available to anyone with a U of A ID and can be ordered individually or for a group or department. The cost of the items has been covered by the CARES Act and will not be the responsibility of those ordering.

Those wishing to order items may do so via this online form. Once submitted, an email confirmation will be provided along with additional details for pick up at Facilities Management. Those ordering items should allow a minimum of one business day before picking up items from the Facilities Management Central Supply Warehouse.

Most items will be available in case quantities only. While there are plenty of items available for everyone, items will be distributed on a first-come first-serve basis while supplies last.
