Emergency Patch for Windows Vulnerability
Microsoft has released an emergency patch for a newly discovered security risk called PrintNightmare that impacts multiple versions of Windows.
The IT Security team has determined that the number of impacted systems on our campus poses a significant risk to the campus.
IT Services requests students, faculty and staff install the patch through Windows updates. On July 9, the patch will be automatically installed for all computers managed by IT Services. For those with devices not managed by IT Services, it is important to install the patch as soon as possible.
