The application for Family of the Year is now open! Students interested in nominating their family as Family of the Year can fill out and submit their application online through HogSync. Applications must be submitted by noon on Tuesday, Aug. 31. Any U of A at Fayetteville student enrolled for fall 2021 who meets co-curricular requirements is eligible to submit a family application. Students are allowed to nominate their own family or another student's family for Family of the Year.

The Associated Student Government and Parent & Family Programs are proud to sponsor the Family of the Year. The Family of the Year represents the university as the model Razorback family. They are selected as the family who exemplifies the Arkansas spirit as well as a family who provides outstanding support for their student and their student's success at the university.

"The behind-the-scenes support, encouragement and overall commitment of our Razorback families does not go unnoticed," said Teia Anderson, ASG vice president. "It is that aid that contributes to the success of students on this campus, allowing each to thrive and reach their full potential. Family has and will always remain the backbone of this university, and we as a Razorback community take great pride in showing our appreciation to a Razorback family that has gone above and beyond to ensure the success of their family and the University of Arkansas as a whole."

The Family of the Year will receive tickets for the Arkansas Razorback football game versus the Georgia Southern University on Saturday, Sept. 18, and will be honored during the game. The family will also receive hotel accommodations and other benefits for that weekend. The university's official "Family Weekend" falls on Sept. 17-19.

The 24th U of A Family of the Year will be announced no later than Friday, Sept. 10. Please visit asg.uark.edu or follow us on Twitter for the announcement.
