The fourth season of the "Live at the Five & Dime" outdoor concert series continues on Thursday, Aug. 5, with the Jake Hertzog Trio, featuring Jake Hertzog (guitar), Garrett Jones (bass) and Anthony Ball (drums).

Concerts are free and take place every Thursday night from 5-7 p.m. outside the Walmart Museum on the Bentonville Square.

The Jake Hertzog Trio is a jazz/rock group that has released five albums and has headlined venues such as the Blue Note in New York City and the Salo Jazz Festival in Finland. Under the alias Hey Jazz Guy, Hertzog has contributed over 30 articles to Guitar Player magazine's 'Lessons' section. Guitar Player has coined him the "Jazz ambassador to the non-jazz world." Hertzog was also the grand prize winner at the guitar competition at the 2006 Montreux Jazz Festival.

Additionally, Hertzog is an assistant professor in the Department of Music at the U of A.

"Live at the Five & Dime" features free, weekly concerts until Oct. 7. The concerts are a collaboration between the U of A Department of Music, the Walmart Museum and Downtown Bentonville Inc. The performances feature many faculty, students and other artists connected to the Department of Music at the U of A.
