The Schola Cantorum, the university's flagship vocal ensemble, will host open auditions for the 2021-2022 academic year. All students, regardless of class or major, are eligible.

The Schola Cantorum has served as musical ambassadors of the U of A since 1957, and will continue its distinguished history this year with concerts on campus, a concert tour throughout the state of Arkansas and a planned collaboration with one of the world's greatest choirs.

Auditions are Aug. 23 and 24, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., in MUSC 332. Students may sign up for an audition outside the choral rehearsal room, MUSC 335, at any time. Scholarships are available to exceptionally talented singers. Email questions to Stephen Caldwell, director of the Schola Cantorum, at stephenc@uark.edu
