All students and faculty are encouraged to sign up for RazorLink, the U of A's premier mentoring platform, powered by PeopleGrove. The Arkansas Alumni Association, in collaboration with the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; the Sam M. Walton College of Business; the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences and the Career Development Center, launched RazorLink to enhance student-to-alumni connection and improve access to social capital for all U of A students.

The success of our students and this initiative rests on diverse participation among all user types -- students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends. All of our students can benefit from developing strong mentoring relationships during college with both faculty and staff, as well as with alumni who share common interests.

RazorLink allows you to filter users according to your preferences:

  • Industry expertise - is there a career or field you would like to know more about?

  • Location - is there a city that you would like to discover before moving there?

  • Help topics - do you need interview or resume guidance?

  • Shared affinity or identity - do you want to connect with people who shared common experiences at the U of A?

Mentors can be champions and anchors throughout college, but students might be surprised at what they can offer their mentors - particularly alumni mentors. Beyond a connection back to their university, these relationships offer employers valuable insights into what they can expect as new generations move into the workforce.
