Bike Block Party on Sept. 2

The fourth annual Bike Block Party will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2, at the Chemistry Building Green Space just south of Mullins Library. The block party is an afternoon of fun, safety-oriented educational events, encouragement activities and guided bike rides followed by a pizza party.

The guided rides are for people of any skill level who want to explore the areas around campus and have fun! The rides will be chaperoned by representatives from local bike shops, Veo, Spin and Experience Fayetteville. Guided rides are from 4-5 p.m. following the tabling event. Free bike tune-ups and safety checks will be offered by skilled bike mechanics from UREC Outdoors, so be sure to bring your bike with you!
