Lot 56, located north of Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., is one of several parking areas needed on football game day.

As football season approaches, parking permit holders are reminded that athletic parking areas need to be vacated no later than the Friday evening before each Saturday home game.

For the most part, this affects individuals who park in student lots that are indicated in green on the campus parking map, but there are other parking areas that are utilized. You will want to look over the football athletic map to see if it may affect where you park.

The first three games of the season are at home, as the Razorbacks host Rice on Sept 4, Texas on Sept. 11 and Georgia Southern on Sept. 18.

You may see the entire football schedule online.

In the past, Transit and Parking sent email reminders before each game, but now reminders are provided through an Outlook calendar.

Add Outlook Parking Calendar

To receive vacate reminders on your calendar, simply go to the calendar app within Outlook and follow these instructions:

  • Right click on "My Calendars" heading
  • Select "Add Calendar" then "open shared calendar"
  • Enter the name "PARK: Athletic Events" then click OK.

You should now see the calendar in your list.

Other Information

Those who want additional reminders can follow Transit and Parking on social media, on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter (@UATandP).

There will also be updated information for major events on the Transit and Parking website.

Any time a parking permit holder has to move a vehicle, the commuter lot (Lot 99 south of the main campus) is available. Lot 99 is located on Beechwood Avenue and can be located on the campus parking map
