FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Arkansas students who have recently become or will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can now apply for a one-time $100 incentive from the city of Fayetteville.

The city of Fayetteville’s COVID-19 Vaccination Incentive Program is open to all who live or work in the city – including students - who have become fully vaccinated against COVID-19 between Aug. 17 and Oct. 15. Applications can be made on the city’s website at fayetteville-ar.gov/vaccine. The last day to apply is Nov. 1.

To be fully vaccinated, persons must have received a second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, within the eligibility period. The incentive does not apply to “booster” shots.

For eligibility details and application instructions, please go to fayetteville-ar.gov/vaccine. Along with contact information, applicants will need to upload copies of their vaccination card and documents showing proof of residency or employment in Fayetteville, such a driver’s license or utility bill for residents and pay stub, invoice or Form 1099 for those who work in the city but may not live here. Guardians also may provide information for minors who were fully vaccinated within the designated time period.

An application kiosk is available in City Hall for those in need of assistance with the online form submission.

Payment will be distributed in cash and will be available after an application has been verified and approved. The approval process can take up to two business days, and applicants will be notified once approved. Payment must be picked up in person at Fayetteville City Hall, 113 W. Mountain St., during regular business hours.

COVID-19 vaccinations are available free of change for students, faculty and staff by appointment at Pat Walker Health Center and throughout the region. Vaccines will also be available at Razorback football games this fall as part of a partnership with the Northwest Arkansas Council.

In addition to being eligible for the city’s vaccination incentives, vaccinated U of A students can enter to win incentives from the university including $500 scholarships, $100 parking credits, Razorback football tickets and a backpacking trip to the Grand Canyon.
