Students: Apply Now for ASG Appointments to University Committees
Students, did you know that seats on many university committees are reserved for student representation? If you have a passion to advocate for students in a certain area, now is your chance! Applications are available on HogSync and are open to all students who meet co-curricular eligibility requirements. Applications are due by noon on Friday, Sept. 27.
Topics for committee appointments include academics, athletics, campus life, diversity and inclusion, health and safety, and infrastructure. Committee appointments will be for one academic year. University committee meeting times and frequencies vary based on the committee.
The Associated Student Government at the U of A is a student-led organization that acts as an organized voice for all students and strives to effectively represent student interest. Questions about ASG can be directed to 479-575-5255 or asg@uark.edu. ASG is a program in the Division of Student Affairs.
