LGBTQ-Plus Mentoring Program Accepting Applications
The U of A LGBTQ+ Mentoring Program is pleased to announce it is accepting applications for this academic year. LGBTQIA+ faculty and staff who wish to be mentors may apply as well as LGBTQIA+ students who wish to be mentees.
The goals of this program are to:
- Foster mentoring relationships between students and faculty/staff that offer support, guidance and resources to LGBTQIA+ students at the U of A
- Introduce students to the intersectional diversity of the lives of faculty and staff LGBTQIA+ members of the U of A community.
Graduate students can be either mentors or mentees, depending on their need, experience and interest.
If you are interested in being a mentor or mentee please complete the application survey at LGBTQ-plus Mentoring Program 2021/2022 (new and returning applicants need to complete the survey. Note that if you have already applied prior to September, there have been some updates made, and you will need to submit again).

All donated bikes will be given to Pedal It Forward, a local nonprofit that will refurbish your bike and return it to the U of A campus to be gifted to a student in need. Hundreds of students have already benefited.
