Seminar on 'Exploring Information Resources in STEM Disciplines' Today

Luti Salisbury, Distinguished Professor and director of the Chemistry and Biochemistry Library, will give a seminar titled "Beyond Google: Exploring Information Resources in STEM Disciplines" on Zoom from 4-5 p.m. today, Friday, Sept. 17. Everyone is welcome to attend the seminar individually via Zoom or to come to SCEN 0203 where the seminar can be viewed with other attendees. Interested students are encouraged to bring their computers so that they can follow along.
The objective of this seminar is for you to be aware of the resources available from the University Libraries and beyond. During this seminar, Salisbury will explain the scientific communication cycle and provide techniques of finding scholarly resources in STEM disciplines. Techniques used for keeping current will also be demonstrated. Practice examples will be provided.
