Faculty Reading Room (MULN 333)

With Phase I of the Mullins Library renovation complete, new spaces have been added for U of A faculty members. A faculty reading room and individual faculty carrels can be found on the west side of Level 3. Flex-space lecture rooms are also available for reservation.

The faculty reading room (MULN 333) has a capacity of 28 and is accessible only to those with U of A faculty ID cards. Those who wish to reserve a carrel must submit a Faculty Carrel Room application form, and rooms will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Additional information is available on the Faculty Carrel Policy webpage

Two flex-space lecture rooms on Level 4 (MULN 449 and MULN 452) can be reserved online by any university affiliate, and each room can accommodate up to 32 people. Each room is equipped with a large display monitor, HDMI connection and dry-erase board with markers. Patrons must bring their own computer devices to connect to the display monitor. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. These rooms do not serve as regular classroom spaces.

"We're excited to provide our faculty with these enhanced spaces geared for reflective, quiet, learning environments," said Adriana Gonzalez, associate dean for Research and Learning.
