Event Planning: Transitioning From Virtual to In-Person

As we transition from a virtual to in-person environment, Student Organization Outreach Involvement Experience (SOOIE) would like to invite you to the first Leadership Development Luncheon of the year from 3-4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, in Arkansas Union 507-508.

During this event, Trisha Blau, assistant director of programming for the Office of Student Activities, and Fernanda Alcantara, University Programs president, will talk about how to successfully plan an in-person event and what factors to take into consideration when planning an event. Attendees will also hear from a student who has two years of experience planning both virtual and in-person events. We will provide lots of snacks and you will also have the opportunity to win a $15 Amazon gift card!

This event is sponsored by SOOIE through the Office of Student Activities and is supported by the Student Activities Fee. For questions or for accommodations due to disability please contact the Office of Student Activities, osa@uark.edu or call 479-575-5255. SOOIE is a program in the Division of Student Affairs.
