Interested in Tech Internships and Jobs in Arkansas? Attend the Virtual Technology & Innovation Mixer

On Thursday, Oct. 28, from 5-7 p.m., the Career Development Center and Walton Career Services are partnering to bring students and local companies together, focusing on technology-related careers in Arkansas! During this virtual mixer, students with a background and interest in technology will be able to take a seat at a virtual table and video chat with companies small and large who are seeking to fill tech positions in Arkansas through Airmeet. This is a wonderful opportunity to network and learn who is looking to hire for tech-focused internships and full-time jobs!

Companies attending include: Arcbest, Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corp., First Orion, J.B. Hunt Transport, Lead for America, Stopwatch, SupplyPike, View, Walmart Corporate, Wolfspeed and Zenwork.

Day of Mixer Agenda

5-5:30 p.m. — Welcome Session

A representative from each company will be given two minutes on the virtual stage to briefly describe their company and tech opportunities currently available.

5:30-7 p.m. — Virtual Table Chats

Students can take a seat at each organization's virtual table and chat with representatives. Up to eight seats are available at each table, including the company representatives. If all tables are full, students will rotate every 10 minutes to allow all students to join the virtual tables.
