BASIS Access Ends Tuesday, Nov. 2
Access to BASIS and webBASIS will be removed on Nov. 2, and historical BASIS data will only be accessible in the Data Warehouse.
Data Warehouse training was offered daily throughout October. Two additional sessions are scheduled for Oct. 29 and Nov. 1 if you were unable to attend previously.

Project Overview
With only two years of finance and HR data in Workday, many still rely on data in BASIS to complete critical work activities. IT Services recognizes this need and has worked diligently to ensure all historical data not available in Workday is accessible in the Data Warehouse before the mainframe is retired. Staff with a business need to access historic BASIS data will have preconfigured reports similar to those found in BASIS.
The decommission of the BASIS mainframe will save the university approximately $1 million per year in service and licensing fees and help ensure the integrity and proper use of institutional data.
