Graduate Students Invited to Research Week Nov. 8-12

Graduate student researchers are invited to sessions focusing on grant writing from successful student and faculty researchers, learning more about the university's research tools and publication processes during this fall's virtual Graduate Student Research Week.

Specific topics include:

• Research: How to Get it Paid For
• Finding Diverse Voices in Research
• Story Telling with Data
• Staying Current – Keeping Track of Publications in Your Field
• Where Should I Publish and What's in a Name
• Open Access Journal Publications: Author Panel
• How to Commercialize Your Research

"Research Week is designed to assist graduate students in identifying the wealth of campus resources available to them at any stage of the research lifecycle,"  said Joel Thornton, director of research and instruction services for University Libraries. "The University Libraries plays an integral role in providing students a streamlined approach to navigating the global research ecosystem."
