Emergency Preparedness Certificate Program Coming in Spring 2022
Join U of A Emergency Management to help our campus community become better prepared for emergencies by joining the Emergency Preparedness Certificate Program. Starting Feb. 1, 2022, the Emergency Preparedness Certificate program will begin and continue to offer nine courses over the spring semester.
The program is designed to help individuals increase their emergency preparedness skills, not only in their personal lives, but also contribute to overall departmental readiness and campus resiliency. The classes consist of hands-on learning like CPR/AED, Stop the Bleed and Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events, while other classes focus on a specific knowledge area, such as Continuity of Operations and Verbal De-Escalation.
