Union to Offer 24-Hour Services for Final Exams

Arkansas Union Finals Study Hours

Arkansas Union Finals Study Hours

The Arkansas Union is bringing back a pre-COVID-19 tradition to assist students with their final exam preparations. Beginning Friday, Dec. 10, the Union will be open 24 hours a day to students studying for their final exams.

Additionally, the Union is setting aside specific rooms to assist students looking for a quiet place to study. Meeting Rooms 507-511, located behind the Verizon Ballroom, will be made available throughout the final exam period for students to quietly study alone or in groups. Union staff members will also come by periodically with snacks and encouragement for students hard at work.

"I think it's so great that students at the U of A can come inside the union and stay for as long as they like during finals week," said senior communications major Madison Ferrill. "It's important for us to have a nice and dedicated place to get our studying done and the union is the perfect place for that."

In addition to open study spaces throughout the Arkansas Union, students may also book time in two private study rooms online at unionevents.uark.edu using their university ID and password.

The Arkansas Union is a department within the division of student affairs.
