Robinson Releases Proclamation for National Day of Racial Healing 2022
Chancellor Charles Robinson issued a proclamation in recognition of National Day of Racial Healing, today, Jan.18, 2022.
Robinson released a proclamation in honor of the Sixth Annual National Day of Racial Healing on behalf of himself and campus leadership. He is among other campus and municipal leaders across the state to issue such proclamations, indicating the recognition for the need to dedicate ourselves to the principles of truth, racial healing and transformation, so that we can all bring about the necessary changes in thinking and behavior that will propel our state forward as a unified force where racial biases will become a thing of the past.
Events are being hosted across the state and country in honor of the day, including a nationwide virtual livestream at 2 p.m., and a session of 'Race In The South' facilitated by the IDEALS Institute for members of the campus community at 4 p.m.
